The puzzle

Life can be a jigsaw puzzle filled with chunks of time. Sections that are effortless and other sections that are replete with difficult and complicated patterns. A parent raising a family, an adult child caring for a parent, a young child helping with a mom or dad needing care. Some may say that a person suffering from dementia or Alzheimer may not remember the time you spend with them. Is it worth spending time with someone who will not remember? How does that fit in a life filled with work, play and caring for others close to you? When generations of families begin to reverse roles - a parent becomes someone needing care....always remember one simple phrase "In the moment.." In the moment the loved one knows you are there, in the moment they are not alone, in the moment - it matters.
