My parents retired and lived several states south of us. My husband of only a year or so and I were working long hours and navigating married life. And then my father called and said they wanted to move closer to family. Oh my! I was happy to help my father with the apartment search, and my father handled the sale of their home and almost the entire move.

We were very fortunate that the changes to our lifestyle were gradual and spanned nearly a decade. Though I learned a lifetime of lessons along this crossing generations path, my only objective is to share some tips and stories to let you know you are not alone on your journey. A journey that will be filled with moments of laughter, tears, and exhaustion.
